Year 4 Blog

This week we have focused on reading weighing scales accurately.
Using bathroom scales please complete the following.
1. Find out how much you weigh in kg.
2. Find an object that weighs 1kg.
3. Find an object that weighs 2kg.
4. Find an object that weighs 3kg.
5. Find an object that weighs 4kg.
6. Find an object that weighs 5kg.

Decide how you would like to record your results and bring your work to school on Friday with pride.

Remember to check the scales are at 0 before you begin weighing.

This week I would like you to produce an information sheet for our French display. Your presentation will be important so remember your best handwriting and great illustrations.
You can select one of the following topics or choose your own.
* Eiffel Tower
* Sacre Coeur
* Notre Dame
* Schools in France
* Food in France
* Sport in France
* Transport in France
* Paris
* Famous French Artists

Include lots of interesting facts and pictures. You can either print pictures or draw your own.
Have fun and remember that only your best is good enough. I want you to feel proud of your work when it is on our display.
