Year 4 Blog

I hope you are all having a great weekend and that you have decided what to wear on Roman Day. I have got mine sorted this morning and I have been researching Roman games so I am really looking forward to Tuesday now. Tomorrow I will go shopping to buy the food.

This week

Reading
Remember to read at home for at least 10 minutes each day and make a comment in your reading diary at least 3 times during the week.

No Spelling this week


Maths
You will each be given a timestable to practise. It is important that you also know the related division facts. For example 8 x 5 = 40 so 40 divided by 5 is 8. You will need to be very confident because it is a timed test that you will have the following week and you will be expected to respond quickly with the answers. Go for it and 'BE BRILLIANT'!


Roman Games
You will bring home 2 Roman games this week to teach to your family. You must write a comment in your yellow diary to let me know how the games went.

Well done with your homework Year 4 during the last 2 weeks. The standard was very high. Everyone completed it and you should feel very proud of yourselves.

This week your homework is to read each day and produce your Roman outfit that you will come to school in next Tuesday. Have fun!
