Science Homework for Wednesday 21 November
On Wednesday next week you will each be given an ice cube. We will have a competition to see whose ice cube is the last to melt. You will need to bring some materials to school which will protect your ice cube and prevent it from melting too quickly. Perhaps you could talk to adults or use the internet and get some really good ideas about protecting your ice cube. Have Fun and make sure that you have everything you need in school for Wednesday 21st November.

Art Homework for Friday 16th November 2007
Your homework this week is to carefully draw a lamp. Draw it using pencil and work big so that your drawing fills the page. You will need to spend time observing the features and shading it to show which parts of the lamp are darker and which areas are lighter. Also look carefully at the shapes and patterns and ask an adult if they can suggest any ways that you might improve your work. If you are not proud of it then do it again so that you feel very satisfied. Have fun!
